Important for SodaStream Terra, Art & Enso
To remove the bottle, push it gently upwards first, then pull it out. Don't yank, don't twist — it releases in seconds. All other models simply unscrew.
SodaStream, Aarke, Philips, Brita, Sodapop, Stelton, Smeg and Arendo are trademarks of their respective owners. AQUA~SEAL® is not affiliated with these companies; the names are used solely to state compatibility.
How-to
Taking the bottle out — the right way
On the SodaStream Terra, Art and Enso the bottle is meant to sit tight. Pull at it and it barely moves; with the right motion it releases in seconds.
Video: removing the bottle from a SodaStream Terra
- 1
Get a finger under the bottle
Take hold of the stainless steel base from below, not the neck.
- 2
Push gently upwards
A short push up releases the catch. You can feel it come free.
- 3
Pull it forwards
Now the bottle lifts out easily — no force, no wiggling.
Don't yank, don't twist
Pulling hard or twisting is the most common mistake. It doesn't help and it puts strain on the machine's holder.
Every other machine — Aarke, Philips GoZero, Brita SodaOne, Sodapop, Stelton, Smeg — simply screws on and off.
Technology
Why it stays cold
There is a vacuum between the two steel walls. Where there is nothing, heat cannot pass — so the outside never sweats and the water inside stays cold.

No condensation
The outer wall stays dry, even holding iced water in midsummer.

Built for fizzy drinks — fill it straight from the maker.
Taste-neutral
Mirror-polished interior: no metallic aftertaste, no lingering smells.

Two lines, one motion
Fill to the lower line, carbonate, then top up to the upper one. Full fizz and the full 960 ml.

Built to stay
One bottle instead of six
PET maker bottles carry an expiry date and need replacing. Steel doesn't — one purchase instead of a subscription.
Scratch-resistant coating
The powder coating survives keys, dishwashers and backpack life without going dull.
No microplastics
Carbonated water is mildly acidic. In steel that's irrelevant — nothing dissolves into your drink.

AQUA~SEAL® Classic — the previous model
Checked returns of our previous model: 1 litre, single-walled 304 stainless steel, pouch included. Technically sound, simply no longer the current range — which is why it costs considerably less. While stock lasts.
Compatibility — different from the current model
The Classic fits the Aarke Carbonator 3, Philips GoZero, Sodapop Cooper and Brita SodaOne. It does NOT fit the SodaStream Terra, Art, Enso or Gaia — for those you need the current 960 ml bottle.

Reviews
What buyers say
4.2 out of 5 stars from 25 reviews
Aggregate rating from our own Amazon.de listing, as of 8 September 2026.
The insulation is excellent — the water stays cold for hours and the fizz holds up well. Well made, generous capacity, broad compatibility and it seals tight. Slightly heavier than a plastic bottle, which for me is a trade-off worth making.

Fits my Brita SodaOne — screw it on and carbonate as usual. Double-walled for hot and cold, doesn't leak, and the silicone loop is handy and can be taken off if you want. Very grippy coating, in daily use.

The insulation, build quality and compatibility all convince — it seats tightly on SodaStream and Aarke. Filled to the top it is a little heavy, and the cap could open a bit more smoothly.

Questions
Frequently asked
Will the bottle fit my sparkling water maker?
It fits SodaStream Terra, Art, Enso and Gaia, Aarke Carbonator 2 and 3, Philips GoZero (screw cap only), Brita SodaOne, Sodapop Cooper, Stelton Brus, Smeg and Arendo. It does not fit SodaStream Crystal, Duo and E-Duo, Aarke Carbonator Pro, WMF and Mysoda, or PET-only and carafe systems.
Does it really hold the carbonation?
Yes. The stainless steel cap seals leak-proof so the drink stays fizzy. Fill to the 750 ml line so the maker has enough headroom.
How long does the water stay cold?
Up to 24 hours cold and up to 12 hours hot, thanks to the double-walled vacuum insulation. The exact figure depends on starting temperature and surroundings.
Why two fill lines?
The lower line at 750 ml is the right level for carbonating — above it the maker loses the headroom it needs. After carbonating you can top up to 960 ml at the upper line.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. A gentle cycle is kinder to the powder coating, and a hot rinse is usually enough anyway.
How do I remove it from a SodaStream Terra, Art or Enso?
Push gently upwards from below, then pull it out — don't yank and don't twist. It releases in seconds.
How does shipping work and what if I don't like it?
Shipping within the EU is free. You have 30 days to return it from the day you receive it.
